Data we may collect

When you use the 727marketplace website or mobile app, we may store your name, email, phone or WhatsApp if provided, profile or business name, avatar, listings, photos, descriptions, prices, location you enter, favorites, messages, notifications, verification status, promotion or payment transaction records, and technical data needed to operate the service.

Camera and photos

The app may request camera or photo-library access when you choose to take or upload a listing or profile image. The permission is used only for the action you start; 727marketplace does not secretly watch your camera or photo library.

Location

Listings may include a country, city or location entered by a user so buyers can find nearby items. If device-location permission is used, the app will ask first and will use it only for marketplace search or listing location.

Messages and notifications

Buyer and seller messages may be stored so chat, unread status and abuse prevention can work. Notifications may be used for messages, likes or favorites, security, promotions, Owner announcements and marketplace updates. Notification settings can be managed in the app or on the device.

Identity verification

Verification is optional. If you choose it, you may provide a selfie, the front and back of a national ID or the front of a passport, document number, issue date and expiry date if one exists. Documents without an expiry date may be accepted. Document numbers and images are encrypted and are not public. 727marketplace may review, approve or reject them and provide a rejection reason. If an expiry date is supplied, reminders may be sent before expiry and verification may pause after expiry until a new document is approved. Pending documents may be kept for up to 90 days, approved documents for up to 30 days, and rejected documents for up to 14 days after the decision, unless a lawful Security Hold applies. A verification badge means a document was reviewed; it is not a transaction guarantee.

Identity Vault and Security Hold

An authorized Owner may place identity documents under a Security Hold when there is a scam report, dispute, security investigation or recorded legal request. The reason for the hold and access to the document are audited. While a hold is active, encrypted documents are excluded from automatic deletion. The hold is removed when the security or legal need ends, after which the deletion schedule resumes.

Scam detection, reports and chat review

Listings, users and chats can be reported. The system may flag words or links associated with passwords, OTPs, advance payments or risky payment methods. A flag is only a warning and may be wrong. To prevent scams, abuse or rule violations, an authorized Owner may review relevant chats and reports for safety, moderation, support and legal obligations. We do not sell chat content for advertising.

Payments and service providers

When a payment provider is used, data needed for the transaction may be shared with that provider. 727marketplace does not store full card numbers or card security codes. Transaction references, amounts, currencies, statuses and accounting records may be retained for payments, refunds, disputes and fraud prevention.

How data is used

Data is used for account creation and login, security, listings, search, chat, profile and business pages, payments, promotions, customer support, moderation, fraud prevention, notifications, necessary analytics and service improvement.

Sharing data

We may share data with hosting, database, email, payment or security providers when necessary to provide the service. Public listing information such as seller or business name, listing title, photos, price and location can be seen by other users. Identity Vault documents are shared with a security authority, court or government body only when there is a valid legal request or urgent safety need, and only the minimum necessary data is shared. We do not sell personal data so third parties can build advertising profiles.

Retention and security

We use authentication, access controls, rate limits and identity-document encryption to reduce unauthorized access. Data is retained while the account is active or as long as needed for law, accounting, security, fraud prevention or dispute handling. A secure reservation of a previously registered email or username may remain after account deletion to help prevent fake accounts and impersonation.

Children

727marketplace is not intended for children below the age at which they may legally create a marketplace account without parent or guardian consent. If child data is found to have been collected by mistake, steps may be taken to delete it.

Account and data deletion

A user can permanently delete their account inside 727marketplace or from the account-deletion page. Account access ends immediately and personal profile, listings, messages, saved items and other account data are removed or anonymized. Payment, security, fraud-prevention or legal records may be retained only when required by law or dispute handling.

Delete account

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of account data subject to applicable law. Permanent account deletion cannot be reversed or restored. Records retained for payment, security, fraud prevention or legal obligations remain only for the required retention period. You can also withdraw camera, photo and notification permissions in device settings.
